- Do not put fragile items in your luggage. With regard to the spaces in the luggage holds of the plane, these can be organized one on top of the other and although they are secured with meshes, they can be damaged by the friction of other luggage.
- Put the heaviest items in the bottom of the suitcase, this way, you will avoid wrinkling the clothes.
- Take your shoes in small plastic bags, this will prevent grease and dust from them from dirtying your clothes.
- Organize hygiene and beauty items such as: shampoo, lotions and cosmetics, in plastic containers and inside a bag, in case they are spilled, they do not damage or stain the rest of the items.
- Choose the suitcase that you will take according to the time you will last outside, this will allow you greater safety and comfort during your trip.
- Remove tags from previous flights from the suitcase.
- Check the condition of your luggage and leave it properly closed, with a padlock or straps that do not allow easy access.
- Check that they give you the same number of strips against the checked bags.
- Check the luggage for loose straps or objects that can become entangled in the belts that carry it, which can cause damage to it.
- Not all luggage or items that are presented at the time of travel can be received by the airline, it is essential that you know the capacity of luggage you can transport.
- Items or luggage that are not properly packed and those that are considered fragile may be received with a limited liability label, that is, the airline is not responsible for any damages that may be caused.
- Before boarding the plane (on the platform), the airline will ask you for a baggage check on some flights, this is done as an additional security task during the flight.
- For your safety, do not allow an unknown person to remove or transport the suitcases.
- Have on hand the luggage tags that were supplied to you in the city of origin, so that you can claim your luggage immediately upon arrival at the destination airport.
- Make sure the luggage tag matches the luggage that is delivered.
- The transport of any type of weapon and ammunition in the passenger cabin is prohibited, in case of being detected in the restricted areas of the airports, SATENA may deny the boarding.
- SATENA does not accept sharp objects, flammable or corrosive toxic substances, radioactive material or compressed gases.
- SATENA does not transport 15-inch MacBook Pro notebook computers produced in 2015 and marketed during 2016 to 2018.

Hand luggage is considered to be all those personal objects free of additional charge, transported by the passenger inside the cabin of the plane and that travel under their custody and responsibility. Each passenger may carry one (1) piece of hand luggage (Maximum dimensions: 43cm high x 34cm wide) plus one (1) personal item.
